Hagar Township maintains five public parks. We welcome residents and visitors to enjoy the natural beauty of Michigan recreation while helping us maintain its pristine beauty.
PARKS CANNOT BE RESERVED OR SECTIONED OFF FOR PRIVATE GROUP EVENTS.
PARK AND RECREATION PLAN

PARK ORDINANCES (PART 70, ORD. NO. 16)
No Alcohol. No Littering. No Glass Bottles. No Open Fires. No Camping. Dogs Must Be Leashed. Dumping of Household Garbage is prohibited.
PARKING
Parking is free at all township parks. In summer months beach lots fill up quickly. Cars parked in no parking areas, on roadways or after hours (11:00 p.m. to sunrise) will be ticketed and/or towed at the owners expense.
SECURITY
Hagar Township provides security patrols of our beaches and other parks. Failure to comply with park rules will result in removal from the parks and/or a citation by Berrien County Sheriff.
HAGAR TOWNSHIP PARK LISTING
HAGAR PARK | 5440 M-63 | COLOMA, MICHIGAN 49038
Located on M63 in the Lake Michigan Beach area. This park offers paved parking, porta johns, wooden walkway and stairs to the beach, shaded picnic area with metal grills, playground equipment and dog bag dispenser. Horses are not allowed. Park closes at 11pm. Parking along M63 is prohibited. All park rules are strictly enforced.ROADSIDE PARK | 6930 BLUE STAR HIGHWAY | COLOMA, MICHIGAN 49038
Located on Blue Star Highway just south of Van Buren County line. This beach park is a natural dune park that offers a roadside gravel parking lot, porta johns and dog bag dispenser. Horses are not allowed. Park closes at 11pm. Parking along Blue Star highway is prohibited. All park rules are strictly enforced.

BASEBALL AND SOFTBALL
This Park offers three baseball fields, building, playground and parking. Fields are open to the public on a first come basis, unless prior arrangements are made by contacting the Township Hall. DOG PARK
Momany Park includes a fenced in portion where you are welcome to let your dogs run. Dogs will be required to be on a leash when outside of the fenced in area. Disposable bag dispenser and waste receptacle are located on the premises. Please help us keep our parks clean!

Located just East of Exit 4 of I-196. The Bi-Level Park includes a picnic pavilion, picnic tables and grills, vault toilets, with a 90 foot drop to a combined Kayak Launch and fishing platform. All features are ADA compliant with asphalt paving throughout and with security lightening. Park closes at 11pm.
NOTE: Riverside Kayak Park is best utilized as a take out point from upstream locations, unless paddlers have advanced skills. Information on upstream locations and the Paw Paw River Trail can be found here.
CHILDREN'S PARK | 3871 RIVERSIDE ROAD | BENTON HARBOR, MICHIGAN 49022
Located in Riverside across from the Township Hall. This park was generously donated by the Monte Family to provide a place for youngsters to play in downtown Riverside.
