RENTAL SAFETY VERIFICATION - ACTION REQUIRED FOR RENTAL OWNERS

Hagar Township adopted a Rental Safety Verification Ordinance at the September 12th, 2022, Board Meeting.  The ordinance requires registration of all rental dwellings and units within Hagar Township.  Inspections for each dwelling or unit are required, and all must comply with the township ordinances and property maintenance code.

The Township will begin taking rental registration applications on February 1st with all rental units required to be registered by March 31st.

Appointments for required inspection will be available shortly after applications and fees are received and processed.

Fee payments must be made by check, money order or cash.  An online payment system will be available at a future date.
